Who has the last word?

Who has the last word?

F

or every action you take, there’s some kind of feedback you get.

Cook beans. Turn out well.
Feedback: “Good cook.”

Cook beans. Burn.
Feedback: “Bad cook.”

What matters most is who has the last word.

Whose ultimate feedback will you listen to? On which side of the fence will you land?

Do you land on the side that brings you down, makes you feel bad, calls you an idiot and ruins your day?

Or the side that encourages you to try again, keep going, learn more and move on to the next adventure?

Understanding who has the last word is a powerful distinction to cultivate.

Who has the last word?

In lovingkindness,
