    In this free online workshop, I will not only teach you the formal Zen meditation posture, but I will also reveal what goes on inside your mind that’s creating struggle.
     
    Through the use of guided visualizations and exercises, you will have a direct experience of why meditation is important and why you want to start meditating RIGHT NOW.

    Taming Your Inner Noise is a FREE online workshop. This means you can do it anywhere you have a good internet connection and some quiet time to yourself.
     
    Requirements:
     

    • A computer or mobile device with access to good internet connection.
    • A journal and something to write with.
    • 90 minutes in a distraction-free environment to do the workshop (don’t worry—you WILL NOT be meditating for 90 minutes! Only 5 minutes. The training video is one hour and 11 minutes long and can be paused).
    • Something to sit on.

    Nothing fancy. You’ve got what you need to start right now.


     
    How it works:

    • The free workshop is available “on demand.” Register whenever you want.

    Alex’s workshop was truly a game-changer for me. I was always interested in meditation but was never able to commit. I always heard do 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night, and most days, it was way too hard for me to find that time.     Before I met Alex I had a meditation practice that was feeling, frankly, lazy. I realized how important meditation is in one’s life, however, mine was just not making it for me. A few months ago I attended a weekend entitled, Reinventing Yourself. Alex was one of the speakers. I was immediately struck by his gentle yet very focused manner, his talk of love but also of dedication. In his talk, he described the meditation he practices and teaches. He demonstrated and then had us do it with him. It resonated with me immediately. There was nothing lazy about this technique. What came through very clearly for me was that this is training for my brain. Training in focus and calm. Training to always go back to my breath. Breath where there is safety as opposed to my thoughts. I am an athlete and train my body. It only makes sense to train my brain as well [it has by the way improved the sports I play]. Having started with 5 minutes per session, I am now up to 15 minutes. I use the technique of going back to the breath during my day as well. It has increased my focus, my calm [diminishing anxieties] and allows me to go into situations where I might not have gone in the past. As a coach, I have passed on Alex’s book and videos to my clients. I am very grateful to have Alex and his work in my life.

    I’ve been meditating for 5 minutes every night before I go to bed.
     
    I look forward to it every day. I feel content, at peace, and I am actually able to release those thoughts that flow in. I never thought silence could be so soothing, I always thought I needed the opposite! I plan on increasing my time in small intervals, 5 minutes is now too short of a time for me…when my chime goes off it actually disturbs me…need to add time!!!
    🙂 I am able to refocus my energy (most of the time) to positive thoughts and I am sleeping much better also!
